SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details for NOGRR130

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  June 1, 2014

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On June 1, 2014, ERCOT implemented Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) 130, Alignment with NPRR555 and NPRR434, in conjunction with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 555, Load Resource Participation in Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch.  This change was approved by the ERCOT Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) on April 24, 2014.  The following Sections were updated:

·         2.3, Ancillary Services

·         2.3.1.2, Additional Operational Details for Responsive Reserve Providers

·         2.3.2.1, Additional Operational Details for Non-Spinning Reserve Service Providers

·         3.4, Load Resource Testing Requirement

NOGRR130 aligns the Nodal Operating Guides with the Protocols as revised by NPRR555, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on September 17, 2013 and NPRR434, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on February 12, 2012.
