SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation details of NPRR602

DAY AFFECTED: August 1, 2014

LONG DESCRIPTION: On August 1, 2014, ERCOT will remove Protocol language that was implemented with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 602, Exemption for Sharyland Brady Load Transition, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on April 8, 2014.

NPRR602 provided an exemption to the three-year NOIE Load Zone restriction in the Protocols in order to allow the Sharyland Brady Load to merge into a Competitive Load Zone upon transition to retail choice on May 1, 2014. Since the transition has occurred and the exemption language is no longer relevant, the language will be removed from the Protocols on August 1, 2014.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice of implementation of any NPRR that is not implemented the first date of the month following Board approval. This notice must be provided as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
