INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Transmission Service Providers

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT performed unplanned maintenance on the Taylor environments on August 18, 2014; this caused ERCOT Gateway (gateway.ercot.com) to fail beginning at 05:00.  The following applications are not available for Transmission Service Providers (TSPs) until further notice due to ERCOT Gateway outage.

*         Nodal Market Management System (NMMS)

*         Nodal System Operations Test Environment (SOTE)
ACTION REQUIRED:  TSPs are requested to send the Model changes that need to go into NMMS system through email to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> until the outage is resolved.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT Dashboards, Displays and Missed Market Reports
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  August 18, 2014
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced reporting issues after systems were failed over to the secondary control center Sunday, August 17, beginning around 18:40. These issues have ceased updates to all the ERCOT Dashboards and Displays. Until the connectivity issues are resolved, the Dashboards and Displays will not be updating and providing data.  There are a number of ERCOT reports that were missed during the connection issues and do not have retry functionality.  ERCOT is working on a comprehensive list of missed reports from MIS.  Further outage issue information will be provided as it is available.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Market Participants are reporting issues  connecting across the  ERCOT Wide Area Network (WAN) after systems were failed over to Bastrop.
ACTION REQUIRED:  Market Participants working through API connectivity issues across ERCOT WAN are asked to call their account manager or the Client Services phone number below to schedule a conference call to re-establish connectivity.
