NOTICE TYPE:  W-A081814-05 Unplanned Maintenance Complete

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Primary Control Center ICCP servers are Operational

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSEs with Resources and TSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  August 19, 2014

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT un-planned maintenance of the Primary Control Center environments is complete and the Primary Control Center’s Inter-Control Center Communications Protocol (ICCP) servers are back online and operational.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) with Resources will need to verify they are receiving telemetry from both the Primary and Secondary Control Center ICCP servers to receive dispatch instructions. Transmission Service Providers (TSPs) who receive data for their operations will also need to receive their telemetry from both the Primary and Secondary Center servers.

NOTICE TYPE:  W-A081714-01 Outage - Wholesale

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Outage of Taylor ICCP servers

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSEs with Resources and TSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  August 18, 2014, 02:00 A.M. – Until Further Notice

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be performing un-planned maintenance on the Taylor environments starting on August 18, 2014, from 02:00 A.M.  This will cause an outage of the Taylor ICCP servers. Maintenance completion time will be notified in a later notice.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) with Resources will need to verify they are receiving telemetry from the Bastrop ICCP servers to receive dispatch instructions during the outage. Transmission Service Providers (TSPs) who receive data for their operations will also need to receive their telemetry from the Bastrop servers during the outage.
