SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Learning Management System Transition

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Learning Management System users

DAY AFFECTED:  September 16 – 26, 2014

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On September 16 ERCOT began experiencing availability issues with the legacy Learning Management System.  ERCOT has been preparing for transition to a new Learning Management System for some time, and current issues have prompted us to accelerate the transition process.

The legacy Learning Management System is currently out of service and is likely to remain so throughout the transition process.  ERCOT will begin transitioning to the new system the week of September 21.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

ACTION REQUIRED:  Additional Notices will be provided on the use of the new Learning Management System when it is implemented.  During the transition process, if you wish to enroll in any upcoming courses, please email your request to [log in to unmask] and you will be enrolled.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  To support our goals of fostering fair and competitive electrical markets, maintaining system reliability and enabling retail choice, ERCOT provides training based on the market rules that govern our operations. The ERCOT Training curriculum includes a wide variety of courses ranging from general introductions to deeper explorations of specific market topics and processes.
