SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details of NPRR491

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  November 1, 2014

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On November 1, 2014, ERCOT will implement both Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 491, Updated Demand Response Information for ERCOT (formerly “Updated Distributed Generation and Demand Response Information for ERCOT”), which was approved by the ERCOT Board on July 16, 2013 and NPRR634, Clarification for the Reporting of Demand Response, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on October 14, 2014.

Together these NPRRs provide ERCOT and the market needed information on demand response.  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
