NOTICE DATE: December 31, 2014 NOTICE TYPE: M-A123114-01 Operations SHORT DESCRIPTION: Proposal to Disable Collin Switching Station SPS #19 INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants DAY AFFECTED: January 13, 2015 LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT received a proposal to disable the Collin Switching Station Special Protection Scheme (SPS #19) from Oncor Electric Delivery Company (Oncor). Oncor is proposing to disable the SPS after the second 345/138 kV autotransformer at Collin Switching Station has been installed and rebuild of Collin Switching Station is complete. The Collin SPS #19 was designed to monitor and relieve thermal violations on the 345/138 kV autotransformer #1 at Collin Switching Station. The proposal to disable SPS #19 is being reviewed by ERCOT. Comments on the proposal are due by January 13, 2015 and should be submitted to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> using the attached comment form. Any questions or concerns submitted by this date will be addressed by ERCOT Staff or Oncor.
