SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation for BRAUNIG_VHB2

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  February 10, 2015

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On January 6, 2015, ERCOT received a Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for the following Generation Resource with a proposed effective date of February 10, 2015:

• CPS Energy, BRAUNIG_VHB2

The NCGRD proposes that this Mothballed Generation Resource will change its designation to operational as of February 10, 2015. 

In accordance with paragraph (4) of Section 3.14.1.9, Generation Resource Return to Service Updates, ERCOT posted this NCGRD to the MIS Secure Area on January 6, 2015.  Due to an internal oversight, however, ERCOT did not comply with this Section’s additional requirement to issue a Market Notice notifying Market Participants of this posting within five Business Days of receiving the NCGRD. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Section 3.14.1.9(4), ERCOT has posted the notification in the list titled “Notice of Change of Generation Resource Designation” on the Generation page of the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
