SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details of NPRR500

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  February 6, 2015

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On February 6, 2015, ERCOT will implement Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 500, Posting of Generation that is Off but Available, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on May 14, 2013. 

The NPRR adds a column to NP3-763-CD, Short-Term System Adequacy Report for offline available MW.  The report is published hourly and the added data provides the available Off-Line Resource capacity that can be started for each hour for Generation Resources, using the COP for the first seven days.

The updated XSD can be found on the ERCOT website at http://www.ercot.com/services/mdt/index.html.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
