SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Update - Annual Constraint Management Plans Review
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Transmission Operators and/or Resource Entities with Transmission Facilities, impacted by existing or are proposing new Constraint Management Plans
DAY AFFECTED:  April 3, 2015
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has posted the final study case that will be used for the Annual Constraint Management Plan (CMP) review on the Market Information System (MIS) | Long-Term Planning page at the link below. If there are any case updates or CMP proposals for 2015 that are yet to be submitted, these must be sent to ERCOT by April 3, 2015.

Any proposed CMPs are required to be submitted using the templates attached with this Market Notice. Also, Transmission Operators and/or Resource Entities with Bulk Electric System (BES) elements specified as a part of approved or proposed CMPs are required to provide the "Relay Limitations" for the BES elements to ERCOT for this review.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Provide case updates or CMP proposals by April 3, 2015.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is initiating its annual Constraint Management Plans Review which includes Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), Mitigation Plans (MPs), and Pre-Contingency Action Plans (PCAPs). The study case which will be used for this review has been posted on the Market Information System (MIS)  Long-Term Planning page at the link below:

Transmission Operators and/or Resource Entities with Transmission Facilities, impacted by existing or are proposing new Constraint Management Plans are requested to review this case and provide any comments and/or case updates (including details about any planned equipment outage that is expected to last more than 30 days in the Summer Season) to ERCOT no later than March 23, 2015. Additionally, if any Constraint Management Plans are to be proposed for 2015, these must be sent to ERCOT by March 23, 2015.

Note that, Transmission Operators and/or Resource Entities with Bulk Electric System (BES) elements specified as a part of approved or proposed Constraint Management Plans are required to provide the "Relay Limitations" for the BES elements to ERCOT for the 2015 Annual Constraint Management Plans Review.
