SHORT DESCRIPTION:  System issue resulting in impacts to market facing applications

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 14:15 through 14:50

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced a system issue on March 5, 2015, from 14:15 through 14:50.  As a result the following market facing systems were unavailable or not performing as expected:

·         Retail transaction processing was delayed

·         Find Transaction

·         Find ESIID

·         MarkeTrak

·         MPIM

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The backlog of Retail transactions that resulted was caught up at 17:25.

Root cause is under investigation.

Impacted transaction volumes will be included in a follow-up Market Notice.
