SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Communication Scripts Operating Procedure Manual available on April 28, 2015

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Transmission Operators (TOs) and Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs)

DAY AFFECTED:  May 1, 2015

LONG DESCRIPTION:  A new Scripts Operating Procedure Manual has been developed which is intended to facilitate the critical communication process in which TOs and QSEs are required to repeat hotline calls.  The goal of this new manual is to ensure effective communications between ERCOT and operating personnel. 

  

The manual consists of typical scripts in which the words may vary based on the situation. The scripts are separated for TOs and QSEs so that they can be located quickly.

 

ACTION REQUIRED:  TOs and QSEs should make their staffs familiar with the new Scripts Operating Procedure Manual, which will be available to view on Tuesday April 28, 2015 with an effective date of May 1, 2015.  The new Scripts Operating Procedure Manual will correlate with the Desk Procedures that are being updated on May 1, 2015.
