SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details for SCR779

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRR Account Holders and Counter-Parties

DAYS AFFECTED:  June 2 – 4, 2015

LONG DESCRIPTION:  System Change Request (SCR) 779, Increase to the CRR Auction Transaction Limit, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on April 8, 2014, increases the total market limit on Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) Auction transactions (bids and offers) from 200,000 to 300,000. This transaction limit change will be effective for all monthly and long-term auctions with transaction submission window dates starting after June 1, 2015. The first CRR Auction in which this change will be effective is the 2015.JUL.Monthly.Auction, and its transaction submission window will be open June 2 – 4, 2015.

Corresponding to the increase in the market-wide transaction limit, on March 26, 2015, the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) approved an increased volume limitation of 10,000 market transactions per CRR Account Holder for each CRR Monthly Auction and 4,000 market transactions per CRR Account Holder for each Long-Term Auction Sequence. These changes will also be effective for all future monthly and long-term auctions, starting with the 2015.JUL.Monthly.Auction.
