SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Settlement Point to be retired from Network Operations Model

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  July 8, 2015

LONG DESCRIPTION: The Settlement Point APD_APD_PS1 will be retired with the July 8, 2015, Network Operations Model load. This Settlement Point is non-biddable in the July 2015 CRR Auction. Likewise, the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) will exclude bids and offers at this Settlement Point when it is effectively removed from the model.

The DAM does not have the capability to reject offers and bids submitted on a future Network Operations Model. Therefore, ERCOT will manually remove any bids and offers on APD_APD_PS1 prior to the DAM execution at 10:00 on July 7, 2015, for Operating Days July 8, 2015, and beyond. This will prevent DAM awards on points that will not exist in the Real-Time Market on and after July 8, 2015.

Similarly, Market Participants should NOT submit trades that include the APD_APD_PS1 Settlement Point for Operating Days July 8, 2015, and beyond. ERCOT will manually remove any confirmed trades that include these points prior to the execution of Settlements. 

The model load is scheduled to be completed around 00:01 on July 8, 2015. Once the model load is complete, all market submissions will be validated against the data within the loaded model, which will not include APD_APD_PS1. From that point on, the Market Management System will automatically reject any submissions on these points.
