SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Annual RFI of summary disturbance monitoring equipment installations

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  TDSPs and Resource Entities

DAY AFFECTED:  October 31, 2015

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Per Nodal Operating Guide 6.1.4, ‘Equipment Reporting Requirements’, ERCOT issues this Request for Information (RFI)to Resource Entities and Transmission and Distribution Service Providers (TDSPs) that are owners/operators of disturbance monitoring equipment installations.  ERCOT is sending this standing RFI to remind Resource Entities and TDSPs to submit annual summaries of disturbance monitoring equipment installations to ERCOT before the deadline of October 31, 2015.

ERCOT requests that TDSPs and Resource Entities who have not already submitted the summary disturbance monitoring equipment installation information use the attached spreadsheet for submitting the required information.

Additionally, ERCOT will be performing the review of fault recorder and disturbance recorder locations as required under section 6.1.5 of Nodal Operating Guides. Please ensure that your company reviews and submits all fault recorder and disturbance recorder locations so that ERCOT can complete this review and determine if additional fault recorder and disturbance recorder locations are necessary.
