SHORT DESCRIPTION:  2015 Texas Reliability Entity and the ERCOT Wind Generation and Winter Preparation Webinar

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Wind QSEs, Wind Generator Owners and Operators

DAY AFFECTED:  November 11, 2015, 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. CPT

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Texas Reliability Entity, Inc. (Texas RE) and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) will host a Wind Generation and Winter Preparation Webinar on November 11, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Central Prevailing Time (CPT) at the Texas RE offices at 805 Las Cimas Parkway, Suite 200, Austin, TX 78746. 

Topics will include wind output during major cold weather events, ERCOT’s observations from the field and the control center, FERC and PUCT interest, and new approaches and experiences with icing and other weather challenges from wind generation operators.
