SHORT DESCRIPTION:  New Remedial Action Plan for Wirtz - Flat Rock 138 kV line

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  January 6, 2016

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is in the process of implementing a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) that will monitor loading on the Wirtz to Flat Rock 138 kV line (38T365) under contingency loss of a few double circuit segments in the area. The RAP has been approved by the affected Transmission Operators and is scheduled to be implemented in ERCOT applications on January 6, 2016.

All approved Congestion Management Plans are posted on the Long-Term Planning page of the Market Information System (MIS). A Digital Certificate is required to access this link.
