SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Updates made to Resource Interconnection Handbook

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  February 1, 2016

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Updated versions of the Resource Interconnection Handbook and ERCOT New Generator Commissioning Checklist have been posted to the Resource Entities page of the ERCOT website.  The handbook provides an overview of the process an Interconnecting Entity or a Resource Entity (RE) and its Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) must follow through the Generation Interconnection Process.  

The update changes references to “Commercial Operations Date” in the handbook and checklist to “Resource Commissioning Date” in accordance with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 705, Provides Consistency for References to the End Date of the Generation Interconnection Process, and associated revisions listed below.

NPRR705 and associated revisions became effective on January 1, 2016.
