LONG DESCRIPTION:  The replication issues that caused the lag issue mentioned in Market Notice M-A042016-02 have been resolved and the system is in the process of catching up.

In Market Data Transparency (MDT) Web Services, the ‘Data Available as of date’ for the AMS interval related services now correctly reflects the current replication lag.

The replication issues have impacted other extract postings such as the Consolidated Operating Day Extract (CODE) and Market Operating Day Extract (MODE) with some delays from normal processing, but at this time there are no delays expected to occur that exceed Protocol requirements.

A follow-up communication will be sent advising of any additional delays or to provide notice that the replication streams have caught up and the files are posting as expected.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Update - Missed report posting on MIS and Impacted Web Services 

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  April 14, 2016 to current

LONG DESCRIPTION:  As a result of maintenance performed last week, ERCOT is currently experiencing replication issues with a subset of replication streams which affect the availability of data for the Supplemental AMS extract and Market Data Transparency (MDT) Web Services. The following Supplemental AMS extracts have been affected:

·         The 04/18/2016 extract posting of Supplemental AMS has been removed from the Market Information System (MIS) for incomplete data sets

·         The 04/19/2016 extract posting of Supplemental AMS was not run or posted to the MIS

·         The 04/20/2016 extract posting of Supplemental AMS will be missed

 

As referenced in the initial market notice (M-A042016-01), portions of Market Data Transparency (MDT) Web Services are impacted. 

·         ERCOT is working to update the ‘Data Available as of date’ to reflect current replication lag.

·         All ‘in progress’ AMS related MDT requests received on or after 04/14/2016 have been cancelled and will continue to be cancelled as they are submitted until the replication issue is resolved. 

·         ERCOT is monitoring the Web Services logs and will work through ERCOT Client Services for any terminated requests.

 

A follow-up communication will be sent if any other impacts are identified and/or upon resolution of the current issue. Extracts for April 18, 2016 will be rerun and posted once replication is current and subsequent extracts will then be executed and posted in order.
