SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Invalid Settlement Point in the 2016.2nd6.AnnualAuction.Seq1 CRR Auction

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRR Account Holders

DAY AFFECTED:  May 11, 2016

LONG DESCRIPTION: Due to a delay in the Model Ready Date for a new Generation Resource, ERCOT has determined that the RHESS_1 Settlement Point is invalid for the 2016.2nd6.AnnualAuction.Seq1 Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) Auction. This Settlement Point will not be in the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) models for every month of the auction period (JUL-DEC 2016). Any awarded paths including this Settlement Point would result in infeasible CRRs that could not be settled in the DAM and that would not be fully tradable until the Settlement Point is included in the DAM at a later date.

Prior to running the auction, ERCOT will remove all bids submitted in the 2016.2nd6.AnnualAuction.Seq1 CRR Auction that included the RHESS_1 Settlement Point as either the Source or Sink in the CRR path. No action is required by CRR Account Holders. 

Results for the 2016.2nd6.AnnualAuction.Seq1 CRR Auction will be posted to the Market Information System (MIS) on May 19, 2016, as indicated on the CRR Activity Calendar. A Market Notice will be sent if the results are posted on a different date.
