SHORT DESCRIPTION: EMS Upgrade Program - System Operations Test Environment (SOTE) Testing and Validation

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Transmission Service Providers (TSPs)

DAY AFFECTED: May 19, 2016

LONG DESCRIPTION: The upgraded SOTE is available for TSP real-time snapshot (STNET) testing and validation.

The upgraded SOTE will have the real-time snapshots from the upgraded real-time EMS system and will be accessible through the existing Citrix connection with no change in the current user’s access.

The existing SOTE will be available for TSP STNET real-time snapshot studies until the EMS Upgrade Program cutover. The upgraded SOTE EMS will replace current SOTE EMS immediately after EMS Upgrade Program go live. A separate Market Notice will be sent for the EMS Upgrade Program cutover scheduled for June 2016.

ACTION REQUIRED: TSPs to perform Upgraded SOTE EMS environment real-time snapshot (STNET) testing and validation until the EMS Upgrade Program cutover.
