SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Suspension of Operations for Calpine Corp (RE), CTL_GT_102, CTL_GT_103, CTL_GT_104, CTL_ST_101, CTL_ST_102

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  February 1, 2017

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT received a Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resource:

Calpine Corp (RE) – CTL_GT_102, CTL_GT_103, CTL_GT_104, CTL_ST_101, CTL_ST_102

The NSO indicates that the Resource will be decommissioned and retired February 1, 2017.  The NSO is posted under the Notice of Suspension of Operations portlet on the Grid/Generation page of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.

ACTION REQUIRED: Please send any comments you may have regarding this Notification to [log in to unmask], with “Calpine Corporation (RE), CTL_CC1 NSO Application” in the subject line.  Comments are due no later than August 25, 2016.  All comments will be posted to the Grid/Generation page of the MIS Secure Area.
