SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has started posting monthly report on Chronic or Severe Constraints

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  November 22, 2016

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has started posting of monthly reports on Chronic or Severe Constraints described in paragraph (6) of Protocol Section 6.5.7.1.10, Network Security Analysis Processor and Security Violation Alarm.   The reports were not posted as originally planned upon implementation of NPRR393, SCED Constraint Management Transparency, as described in the Market Notices below.   

ERCOT has now posted the initial report, NP6-572-ER, Monthly Real-Time Congestion Report – Chronic or Severe Constraints, and will publish this report on a monthly basis to the Transmission Page  of the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  ERCOT will post the monthly report described above on the “Real-Time Operations” portlet of the Transmission Page  of the MIS Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS Secure Area.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Postponement of NPRR 393 Monthly Reporting

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED:  November, 2013 and future months

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On September 26, 2013 and October 4, 2013, ERCOT issued the Market Notices below announcing the posting of two new Market Information System (MIS) reports pertaining to SCED Constraint Management Transparency pursuant to NPRR 393. 

ERCOT has encountered some issues with the monthly report, NP6-572-ER, Monthly Real-Time Congestion Report – Chronic or Severe Constraints, originally expected to begin posting in November and will not be posting the monthly report until the issues are resolved.  ERCOT will provide details via a Market Notice pertaining to the expected deployment of the monthly reports as the delivery date becomes available.
