Jay, the concern I have is that coordinates (latitude/longitudes) of all our substations may be considered critical information by some TSPs.  And if so, we should use a more secure method to transfer the information. I think what Mike is proposing is reasonable given we do not have a secure ftp site to transfer such data to ERCOT.

Tim

I think the pass code idea is a little extreme.  No other modeling data is treated in such a manner.  The [log in to unmask] email address is a controlled access address.  I am the owner of the address and anyone wanting access will have to be approved by me.

PGDTF,

I received a question about a secure method for e-mailing the data to [log in to unmask] A secure method delivery method would be to zip the information, pass code it and then send ERCOT the pass code via text message, not email, or call ERCOT to provide the code.

Jay,

Who should we contact with the pass code?
