PGDTF,

A question was raised about including the shield wires of transmission lines that terminate in a station and connect to the station's grounding system in the determination of the station's grounding resistance.  The attached NERC GIC Application Guide discusses including the effect of the shield wires on Page 18, 19, 23 and 25.
