SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Testing of Series Capacitors on the Lobo to North Edinburg 345 kV Transmission Line

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  March 15, 2017 and March 16, 2017

LONG DESCRIPTION:  AEP Texas Central Company plans to test the series capacitors located at the Cenizo and Del Sol substations on the Lobo to North Edinburg 345 kV Transmission Line on the mornings of  March 15, 2017 (Cenizo) and March 16, 2016 (Del Sol) for one hour each beginning at 10:00 each morning. After the testing is completed, the series capacitors will be bypassed until further notice.

ERCOT will issue a follow-up Market Notice once the testing is complete or if the testing has to be rescheduled.
