SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Incomplete SASM for Operating Day April 1, 2017

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Qualified Scheduling Entities

DAY AFFECTED:  April 1, 2017

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On April 1, 2017 at 06:55, ERCOT posted a Supplemental Ancillary Services Market (SASM) notice for Regulation Down Service and Responsive Reserve Service for Hour Ending 1100 and Hour Ending 1200 of Operating Day April 1, 2017.   The SASM was executed on April 1, 2017 at 07:25. 

Due to an unexpected software error, the SASM process did not complete and no Ancillary Service offers were awarded.  ERCOT has identified the error and is working with its vendor to fix the issue. The SASM for Operating Day April 1, 2017 will be treated as invalid with no valid Ancillary Service awards. The following SASM reports also have been removed from the ERCOT MIS:

-          SASM Aggregated Ancillary Service Offer Curve          (EMIL ID: NP6-913-CD)

-          SASM MCPC by Ancillary Service Type                         (EMIL ID: NP6-569-CD)

-          Total Ancillary Service Procured in SASM                      (EMIL ID: NP6-655-CD)
