SHORT DESCRIPTION:  New Remedial Action Plan for Hicks Sw. – Roanoke Double Circuit 345 kV line

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants           

DAY AFFECTED:  May 19, 2017

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On May 19, 2017 ERCOT implemented a Downstream Production Change (DPC) creating a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) that will monitor loading on the Wagley Robertson to Blue Mound 138 kV line under contingency loss of the Hicks Sw. – Roanoke double circuit 345kV line. The RAP has been approved by the affected Transmission Operators and is scheduled to be implemented in ERCOT applications on May 19, 2017.
