LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will host a WebEx workshop on the operational impacts related to Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 744, RUC Trigger for the Reliability Deployment Price Adder and Alignment with RUC Settlement.  This NPRR was approved by the ERCOT Board on April 19, 2016 and it is scheduled for implementation in different ERCOT systems in the May 29 – June 2, 2017 release. The market-facing change to the Reliability Unit Commitment (RUC) opt-out process will occur after the NPRR744 deployment for Market Management System (MMS) on June 1, 2017.

The implementation of NPRR744 substantially changes the process for opting out of Reliability Unit Commitment (RUC) Settlement regardless of the timing of the notification of the RUC. ERCOT recommends that Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) representing Resources attend this workshop.  Any interested party is also welcomed to participate in this workshop.
