SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notice of Application in P.U.C. Docket No. 47576 and Intervention Deadline


DAY AFFECTED:  October 2, 2017

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On September 1, 2017, the City of Lubbock, through Lubbock Power & Light (“LP&L”), filed an application with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (“Commission”) entitled Application of The City Of Lubbock through Lubbock Power And Light For Authority to Connect a Portion Of Its System With The Electric Reliability Council Of Texas (“Application”). The Application seeks the Commission’s approval to transfer approximately 78% of LP&L’s electric load from the Southwest Power Pool ("SPP") power region to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (“ERCOT”) power region. The Application includes a study that analyzes and evaluates issues related to moving LP&L’s affected load. This Application has been assigned Commission Docket No. 47576.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Persons who wish to intervene in or comment upon these proceedings should mail their requests to intervene or their comments (along with 10 copies) to the Public Utility Commission of Texas, P.O. Box 13326, Austin, Texas, 78711-3326 with reference to Docket No. 47576; all requests to intervene must be received by the Public Utility Commission by October 25, 2017.
