SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Update – Implementation of NPRR778 postponed

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED:  October 29 -30, 2017 and December 10 -11, 2017

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On October 10, 2017, the Retail Market Subcommittee (RMS) voted to delay implementation of Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 778, Modifications to Date Change and Cancellation Evaluation Window, until December 10 – 11, 2017.  ERCOT will be implementing NPRR778 on December 10, 2017 06:00 AM to December 11, 2017 12:00 AM.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Initial Notice - Retail Release October 2017

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  October 29, 2017 6:00 AM to October 30, 2017 12:00 AM

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be implementing NPRR778 on October 29, 2017 06:00 AM to October 30, 2017 12:00 AM - Contingent upon RMS vote.

NPRR778 (Modifications to Date Change and Cancellation Evaluation Window) – This NPRR removes the one Retail Business Day evaluation window for date changes and cancellations to facilitate the replacement of manual processes with transactional solutions when possible.

On October 10, 2017 the Retail Market Subcommittee (RMS) is scheduled to conduct a vote on the implementation date for NPRR778 which may recommend a later date for implementation.  If a later implementation is chosen ERCOT will issue a follow-up Market Notice.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  ERCOT systems may experience intermittent service interruptions during the implementation period. The systems include, but are not limited to:
