SHORT DESCRIPTION:  “ERCOT and QSE Operations Practices during the Operating Hour” Business Practice Manual Update

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Following discussions at the QSE Managers Working Group (QMWG) on October 30, 2017, ERCOT has updated the “ERCOT and QSE Operations Practices during the Operating Hour<http://www.ercot.com/content/wcm/key_documents_lists/89328/BP_ERCOT_And_QSE_Operations_Practices_During_The_Operating_Hour_Version_5_11_v1.docx>” Business Practice Manual.

Section 3.4 of this Business Practice Manual now includes guidance on a telemetry-based approach that may be used when a Generation Resource with Non-Frequency Responsive Capacity (NFRC) operating without any Ancillary Service (AS) Supply Responsibility prepares to carry AS Supply Responsibility at the top of the next Operating Hour.
