SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Reminder that the CRR MUI will be upgraded on January 22, 2018

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRR Account Holders and Counter-Parties

DAYS AFFECTED:  December 8, 2017, and January 22, 2018

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) Market User Interface (MUI) will be upgraded on January 22, 2018, to be compatible with the latest web browsers and to remove Java applets and the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) requirement.

To participate in any CRR auctions taking place after the upgrade is implemented, current CRR Account Holders, and their Counter-Parties, must complete a requalification test no later than December 8, 2017. Additionally, ERCOT will stop qualifying newly registered CRR Account Holders on the current MUI after December 8, 2017. After this date, all new CRR Account Holders will only be qualified on the upgraded MUI, and they will only be able to participate in any auctions taking place after January 22, 2018.
