SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Change in Posting Time of Wind Forecast Data and Certain Current Day Report and Public Dashboard Products
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Qualified Scheduling Entities
DAY AFFECTED:  December 6, 2017
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is in the process of integrating a secondary provider for wind forecasting into ERCOT systems. As a part of this project, on December 6, 2017, there will be a change in the timing of wind forecast availability for Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs). Applicable QSEs currently receive wind forecast data approximately 20 minutes after the top of the hour. As of December 6, 2017, applicable QSEs will receive wind forecast data approximately 30 to 40 minutes past the hour.
In addition, the posting times for the following Current Day Report and Public Dashboard products will change to reflect the availability of wind forecast data. Currently, these products typically post or update 20 to 30 minutes after the top of the hour. As of December 6, 2017, these products will post or update approximately 35 to 45 minutes after the top of the hour.
