SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Update – Retail transaction and AMS data reconciliation and verification following retail transaction processing issues

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Retail Operations

DAY AFFECTED:  January 27, 2018 to present

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Reconciliation and verification of retail transactions and submission of AMS data continues as a result of ERCOT system issues experienced on January 27, 2018.

MarkeTrak Issues have been filed with impacted Transmission and Distribution Service Providers (TDSPs) for expected scheduling transactions not processed successfully by ERCOT.

All Market Participants are encouraged to review available resources (including Extracts and the Market Information System) to verify receipt and successful processing of intended retail transactions has occurred.  Exceptions should be filed via MarkeTrak to ERCOT.

ERCOT requests that Market Participants resend files for which they do not have acknowledgments for the dates in question. 

In addition, ERCOT is working with TDSP representatives to submit AMS data that was affected by the issue.

DAY AFFECTED:  January 27, 2018 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced errors in the processing of retail transactions from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on January, 27, 2018. 814 and 867 transactions were processing intermittently during this time frame.     

Transactions are being reprocessed at this time.
