SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update - Proposal to Retire Monticello B Remedial Action Scheme

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has completed its review of the Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC (Oncor) proposal to retire the Remedial Action Scheme (RAS) at Monticello. The Monticello B RAS is designed to monitor
and relieve thermal violations on the Farmersville – Royse double circuit, and the following 345 kV lines: Monticello – Sulphur Springs; Monticello – Allen Switch; and Monticello – Farmersville Switching Station #1.
ERCOT is approving the proposal to retire the Monticello B RAS. The Monticello B RAS is scheduled to be retired on June 18, 2018.
