LONG DESCRIPTION:  On May 29, 2018, Rayburn Country Electric Cooperative Inc. ("RCEC") and Lone Star Transmission LLC ("Lone Star") filed a joint application with the Public Utility Commission of Texas ("Commission") entitled Joint Application of Rayburn Country Electric Cooperative Inc. and Lone Star Transmission LLC to Transfer Load to ERCOT, for Sale of Transmission Facilities, and Transfer of Certificate Rights in Henderson and Van Zandt Counties ("Application"). The Application seeks approval from the Commission to: (1) transfer approximately 96 MW of RCEC's Load and related transmission assets from the Southwest Power Pool region of the Eastern Interconnection to the ERCOT System; (2) approve the use of the "Option 2" transmission plan to integrate the RCEC Load; and (3) approve a transfer to Lone Star of RCEC's 10.8-mile Barton Chapel to Ben Wheeler 138 kV transmission line, associated 138 kV facilities, and associated Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) rights.

The Application has been assigned Commission Docket No. 48400.
