SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation Details of NPRR854

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  August 9, 2018

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On August 9, 2018, Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 854, NOIE TDSP Submittal of Meters with Bidirectional Flow Caused by Generation Interconnected at Distribution Voltage, will be implemented.

This NPRR removes the ERCOT Polled Settlement (EPS) Meter requirement for Non Opt-In Entity (NOIE) points of delivery that realize bi-directional flows as a result of generation that is interconnected to the Distribution System. NOIE Transmission and/or Distribution Service Providers (TDSPs) would assume the responsibility for supplying ERCOT with this meter data.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
