SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation Details of NPRR866 and RRGRR017

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  April 5, 2019

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On April 5, 2019, the language for Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 866, Mapping Registered Distributed Generation and Load Resources to Transmission Loads in the Network Operations Model, and Resource Registration Glossary Revision Request (RRGRR) 17, Related to NPRR866, Mapping Registered Distributed Generation and Load Resources to Transmission Loads in the Network Operations Model, will be implemented.

RRGRR017 adds 5 data fields to the Distributed Generation (DG) Resource Asset Registration Form (RARF) as noted below:

·         Substation Name for POD

·         Substation Code for POD

·         Transmission Bus POD (PTI Bus No)

·         Transmission Station Voltage

·         Transmission Station Load Name

NPRR866 leverages these new data fields, and outlines the process used, in mapping registered DG and Load Resources to transmission Loads in the Network Operations Model.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
