SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation for City of Garland, Gibbons Creek Generating Station (GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1)

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: October 23, 2019

LONG DESCRIPTION: On June 28, 2019, ERCOT received a Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for the following Generation Resource:

·         City of Garland, Gibbons Creek Generating Station (GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1)

The NCGRD states this Generation Resource, which is currently under a mothballed status, will change to a status of decommissioned and retired permanently as of October 23, 2019. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to ERCOT Protocols Section 3.14.1.9(2), ERCOT has posted the NCGRD in the list titled “Notice of Change of Generation Resource Designation” on the Generation page of the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
