SHORT DESCRIPTION: Partial Implementation of PGRR066

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Interconnecting Entities, Resource Entities, and Transmission Service Providers

DAYS AFFECTED: August 1, 2019

LONG DESCRIPTION: On August 1, 2019, ERCOT will partially implement Planning Guide Revision Request (PGRR) 066, Interconnection Request Cancellation and Creation of Inactive Status. 

PGRR066 creates an Inactive status for Generation Interconnection and Change Request (GINR) projects that will not be listed in ERCOT monthly Generation Interconnection Status report but will retain the interconnection request numbers; and defines a process that can be used to cancel interconnection requests that have failed to meet requirements.

The following Sections will be implemented:

• Section 5.7.6, Inactive Status 
• Section 5.7.7, Cancellation of a Project Due to Failure to Comply with Requirement;
• Paragraphs (3) and (9) of Section 5.2.1, Generation Interconnection or Change Request Application; 
• Section 5.3.2, Modifications to Request Declarations of Resource Data Accuracy; 
• Paragraphs (7) and (8) of Section 5.4.8, FIS Study Report and Follow-Up; and 
• Section 5.7.1, All-Inclusive Generation Resource Data Requirements.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Planning Guide Section 1.2.5, Planning Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
