Brief Description – The NERC GMDTF will meet to discuss topics in GMD research, data collection, and modeling of geomagnetically-induced currents (GIC) in the Bulk-Power System. These activities support NERC’s GMD research
work plan and the TPL-007 reliability standard approved in FERC
Order No. 851. Additionally, leaders from the NERC Standards Drafting Team (SDT) will discuss the standards project to develop modifications to the TPL-007 reliability standard.
