Hello BESTF Participants,
This is the first email to go out using the BESTF exploder.
We have posted five Key Topic/Concept (KTC) Recommendation documents for your review. They are posted to the meeting page of the Nov. 4th BESTF meeting. Here is the link:.
Written comments and/or alternative language is due by COB Tuesday, Oct. 29th. Please send any comments to the BESTF email exploder or to and .
Based on the comments received, ERCOT will revise the documents as appropriate prior to the Nov. 4th BESTF meeting. The plan is to have further discussion on these five recommendation documents at that meeting and, if possible, finalize the documents so they can be sent to TAC for consideration at the Nov. 20th TAC meeting.
Below is a list of the five documents to assist in your review.

3. Key Topic/Concept (KTC) 04: Technical Requirements
4. Key Topic/Concept (KTC) 06: ESR Options to Maintain Desired Level of State of Charge
5. Key Topic/Concept (KTC) 10: ESR - Study & Capacity Assumptions
We have also updated the “BESTF Discussion Points and Issue Tracking Spreadsheet” and have posted it under “Key Documents” on the main BESTF meeting page: Here the link:Please don’t hesitate to send us any comments on the Issue Tracking Spreadsheet. (Note: The recommendation documents discussed above may not cover all topics associated with each KTC as identified in the spreadsheet. Topics not covered will be addressed in future meetings.)
