SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of NPRR952

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: December 12, 2019

LONG DESCRIPTION: On December 12, 2019, Protocol language related to Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 952, Use of Katy Hub for the Fuel Index Price, will be implemented.

NPRR 952 replaces the Houston Ship Channel with Katy Hub as the reference for the Fuel Index Price (FIP) for natural gas in ERCOT’s systems .

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
