SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation details of NPRR978

LONG DESCRIPTION: On March 1, 2020, Protocol language related to Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 978, Alignment with Amendments to PUCT Substantive Rule 25.505, will be partially implemented.
This NPRR incorporates a number of revisions to address recent changes made to P.U.C. SUBST. R. 25.505; Reporting Requirements and the Scarcity Pricing Mechanism in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas Power Region, in Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) Project No. 48721, Rulemaking Proceeding To Amend 16 TAC 25.505, Relating to Resource Adequacy in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas Power Region and to Repeal 16 TAC 25.508, Relating to the High System-Wide Offer Cap in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas Power Region.
Specifically, paragraph (2) of Section 3.2.3, System Adequacy Reports, will be implemented, and the remainder of NPRR978 will be implemented at a later date.
Based on the partial implementation, ERCOT will no longer post the following two reports after March 1, 2020: 36 Month Resource Capacity Report (EMIL ID NP3-775-M), and Projected Transmission Constraints for Medium Term PASA (EMIL ID NP3-776-M).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
