SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update: Revised Proposal to Add Bearkat Remedial Action Scheme

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: Comments due March 25, 2020

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has received a revised proposal to add a Remedial Action Scheme (RAS) at the Bearkat Station from Wind Energy Transmission Texas (WETT). The Bearkat RAS is designed to monitor the terminal status for the Bearkat – Sand Bluff, Divide – Sand Bluff, and Long Draw – Sand Bluff 345kV transmission lines.  The RAS will affect the NBOHR_UNIT1 (Bearkat I) and HARALD_UNIT1 (Bearkat II) Generation Resources.

The proposed Bearkat RAS revision is being reviewed by ERCOT.

Comments on the proposal are due by March 25, 2020, and should be submitted to [log in to unmask] using the attached comment form.  Any questions or concerns submitted by this date will be addressed by ERCOT and/or WETT.

ACTION REQUIRED: Any comments to this proposal are due to ERCOT by March 25, 2020 using the attached form.
