LONG DESCRIPTION: On February 11, 2020, the ERCOT Board approved NPRR 955 and NOGRR 183 with an effective date of October 1, 2020 to align the ERCOT Protocols and Operating Guides with NERC Reliability Standard PRC-012-2, effective January 1, 2021.

This Market Notice requires all current Remedial Action Scheme (RAS) owners and Market Participants that own Facilities that are included in a RAS to submit/re-submit their RAS documentation in accordance with NPRR 955 and NOGRR 183 by October 1, 2020.  This submittal will allow ERCOT sufficient time to review and resolve any inconsistencies prior to the January 1, 2021 effective date for PRC-012-2.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This Market Notice includes an attachment with the revised definition of a RAS, Limited Impact RAS, and RAS Entity per NPRR955. Additionally, revisions to ERCOT Operating Guide Section 11.2 and Section 8 attachment K per NOGRR183 are attached.

This notice is also issued to compliance contacts for all NERC registered Transmission Owners, Generation Owners, and Distribution Providers.
