NOTICE DATE: June 1, 2020

NOTICE TYPE: M-A060120-01 Legal

SHORT DESCRIPTION: Declaration for Voting at Remote Meetings for TAC and TAC Subcommittees

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: June 1, 2020 - Ongoing

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On June 1, 2020, due to extenuating circumstances (COVID-19) and after consultation with TAC Chair, Bob Helton, and TAC Vice Chair, Clif Lange, the ERCOT General Counsel declares that remote voting is permitted for TAC and TAC Subcommittee duties and functions for the foreseeable future pursuant to Section VI of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas Technical Advisory Committee Procedures.  Remote voting means that TAC and TAC Subcommittees may now follow normal motion practices and conduct votes in real-time at those meetings and therefore avoid the necessity of post-meeting email voting going forward.  This declaration is consistent with ERCOT's visitation restrictions to all ERCOT facilities detailed in Market Notice M-A030320-05.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  For details regarding remote meetings, please reference the Electric Reliability Council of Texas Technical Advisory Committee Procedures, effective June 1, 2020.
