SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of NPRR977

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY(S) AFFECTED: August 7, 2020

LONG DESCRIPTION: On August 7, 2020, Protocol language related to Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 977, Create MIS Posting for RUC Cancellations, will be implemented.

Implementation of NPRR977 includes a new Secure report, RUC Commitment Cancellation Report (EMIL ID NP5-750-CD, Report Type ID 19537) which will be available on the Market Information System (MIS) Grid, Generation page. This report will communicate Reliability Unit Commitments (RUCs) that have been cancelled by the ERCOT Operator.  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
