SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of NPRR951

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: August 7, 2020

LONG DESCRIPTION: On August 7, 2020, Protocol language related to Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 951, Active and Inactive SCED Constraint Reporting, will be implemented.

NPRR951 adds additional fields to the NSA Active (EMIL ID NP6-6-CD, Report ID 12305) and NSA Inactive (EMIL ID NP5-911-CD, Report ID 12345) Constraints Reports posted in the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  These fields display the rating and flow of constrained elements in Mega Volt-Amperes (MVA).  This additional information has been added to provide market participants greater insight into the Security Constrained Economic Dispatch MVA to MW conversion process.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
